Ways you can help the EBC
General Donations
A simple gift, no matter how small, will enable us to provide training in all aspects of living; orientation and mobility, daily living skills, Braille, technology, as well as social and recreational opportunities. Your gift helps to maintain these programs. We accept donations by check, cash, VISA and Master Card.
Online Donations
You can now make an online donation with your credit card via paypal. Click the box below to make a donation today:
Memorial Gifts
You can make a gift in honor, or in memory of someone or some event that is special to your life. The donation not only shows how much you care about a special someone, but also how much you care about the important work that we are doing at the Earle Baum Center of the Blind. An acknowledgement card will be sent to the person you are specify showing your thoughtfulness.
Scholarships
You may want to contribute to a general scholarship fund used to pay for activities or trainings for low income clients.
Fund Raising Events
Have a fun time participating in our special events. Call the center to see what’s on the calendar!
Wills, Bequests, Trusts
Make your gift last a lifetime and beyond. Gifts and bequests let your gift continue working beyond your lifetime to help others achieve their goal of independence. Charitable organizations are not subject to gift or estate taxes so the gift continues to support the cause dear to your heart without being diminished by the IRS.
Volunteering
Our volunteers generously give their time in so many ways. Some of the volunteer opportunities available at the Earle Baum Center of the Blind include general office work, helping with our newsletter, assisting with special events, guiding tours of the facility, reading for individuals or groups, and helping in the library, with sporting events in the garden and orchards.
Please see our current job bulletin link below for current volunteer opportunities. If you find an opportunity that appeals to your interests, or if you would like to let us know what you can do to help, please fill out our application and return it to us by mail.

Tree of Life
The Earle Baum Center (EBC) has a new way to commemorate those special to you… our “Tree of Life”. The Tree is located for all to see and has individual “leaves” that can be engraved with a name. We ask for a minimum donation of $100 to have a leaf engraved and placed on the perpetual plaque. Made from cast bronze, the tree is tactile and beautiful. If you want to celebrate or remember someone special, consider including their name on the EBC “Tree of Life”. We would like to honor the following people on our Tree of Life:
